Simeon Chow; Partner & Chief Executive Officer: In addition to 10 years working the pyrolysis industry as sales representative to a key technology provider, Mr. Chow also has over 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering, logistics and transportation industry and is the owner of a logistics consulting firm, Global Link One, Inc.  Mr. Chow has worked for the Boeing Corporation, United Parcel Service and Con-Way Freight.  He started his consulting firm in 2000, assisting clients with all matters related to logistics including international trade, domestic distribution, warehousing, and energy alternatives. Mr. Chow has been very successful over the past decade at raising private capital for renewable energy projects, with particular focus on waste-to-energy. A mechanical engineer by training, Mr. Chow received his Bachelor of Science from University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from University of Southern California.

 

Tim Adkins; Partner & Chief Financial Officer: Mr. Adkins has over 20 years’ experience in structured finance, private equity and insurance. Prior to co-founding Alléo Energy, Mr. Adkins was a managing principal and founder at a real estate private equity firm in Austin, Texas (2017-2019), a registered principal at an investment banking firm focused on private placements in energy, life sciences and technology (2004-2007). He is currently a partner in a real estate development firm founded in 2018. Since 2010, Mr. Adkins has been a partner in a risk management consulting firm serving middle market businesses with customized insurance programs and structures, serving also as an expert witness in this capacity. Mr. Adkins has also served on the advisory board for a clinical stage private life sciences company since 2005, for which he has negotiated and raised over $15,000,000 of private equity through challenging market conditions. In his career, Mr. Adkins has structured, negotiated, and raised over $100,000,000 of equity for private placements, and significantly more than that in debt. He has served as a fiduciary and general partner for multiple investment partnerships in his career. Mr. Adkins has a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine.

 

Matthew Wilde;  Partner & Chief Operating Officer: Prior to nearly two years of intensive project management work in the successful construction of the Bay Minette facility, Mr. Wilde’s career as a project manager and development consultant goes back another 20 years. He has been responsible for all phases of the real estate development cycle, from assembly, acquisition and design through project financing, construction management and ongoing operations. He has been directly involved in all phases of the project development process on real estate transactions totaling over $300M. These projects included residential, office, retail, and mixed-use, multi-family projects. Mr. Wilde received his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and Real Estate Finance from Washington State University.

 

Tim Cayford; Partner & Chief Strategy Officer: Mr. Cayford has over 20 years’ experience in international strategic energy consulting and commercial real estate. After setting up his consultancy business in Europe, Mr. Cayford advised dozens of European and global energy companies on various renewable energy topics including carbon emission mitigation. He has provided board-level strategic advice to international energy associations in Brussels. Mr. Cayford has managed several strategic committees with multiple industry working groups.  He has analyzed market trends in natural gas and renewable gas, reported statistics and forecasted coming trends.  He has provided strategic input to Board members, engaging with the European Commission concerning renewable energy legislation, etc. He has published articles on innovation and given numerous expert presentations concerning technically and economically viable ways to achieve the European, and global, energy transition. Since 2013, Mr. Cayford has also been working in the pyrolysis industry. Mr. Cayford holds a B.A. from the University of Washington in Economics, and a MSc in International and Institutional Economics from La Sorbonne, Paris, France.

 

Ray Fletcher; Partner & Chief Technology Officer: Mr. Fletcher has over 35 years industrial experience in Chemical Engineering, refinery operations, process optimization including catalyst operation, design, and optimization (liquid/liquid, vapor/solid, homogeneous/heterogeneous). He is a specialist in focusing on new technology development and design. Mr. Fletcher draws upon a wide network of industrially recognized experts to fully meet the requirements of each specific project he has undertaken. Mr. Fletcher has been in approximately 2/3 of the world’s petroleum refineries (outside of China), holds 9 industry patents, and has authored 50 industry articles. Mr. Fletcher holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.

 

David Blythe; Adviser & Plant Development Manager: Mr. Blythe has over two decades’ experience in engineering, project development, and operational management experience in the energy, refining, renewable fuels, and renewable energy sectors. Mr. Blythe founded and built the 1st solid catalyst biodiesel facility in the US which at the time was one of the largest. He has managed the design, engineering and scale-up of more than a dozen early-stage technologies. As the Director of Engineering & Project Development for Sundrop Fuels he managed the Front-end Engineering (FEED) for a $400m Gas-to-Liquids project and oversaw the scaleup of the company’s patented high temperature gasification systems with a budget of $100m. David also holds a patent for enriched air biomass gasification. David has been involved with projects in Europe, Africa, South America and Australia.
